A Christmas Message from our Pastor

Greetings to All at Christmas!

This December 25th many or most of us will not observe the customary social and large family gatherings, travel, even that kiss under the mistletoe! Nevertheless, we will have reasons to rejoice!

Christ’s birth was both outside the (Holy) Family’s city in a cold stable, and shortly thereafter came exile to Egypt. In spite of similar difficulties as the Holy Family encountered, especially concerns for our safety and well-being, we are brought together in faith and hope. We trust in the Lord’s power to bring us new life. Jesus preached and provided healing and help. He will continue to be with us and assist us in our need. So while e lament the loss of so many persons this year, we trust new life and opportunities will be among our gifts at Christmas and in the New Year!

Blessings to All,
Fr. Michael Greer
