WINTER MASS SCHEDULE (begins January 4, 2026):

SATURDAY:  4:00 and 5:30 p.m.

SUNDAY:  8:00, 9:30, 11:00 a.m.

12:30 p.m.— Misa en Español

DAILY: Monday-Friday: 9:00 a.m

CONFESSIONS:
FRIDAYS: 9:30 - 10:00 am
SATURDAYS: 3:30 - 3:55PM

Baptism

BAPTISMS – For Infants and Children Under the Age of 7, time and dates must be arranged through the church office by calling 954-941-7647

Requirements

Child:

  • Original state birth certificate

Parents:

  • Should be registered, active members of Assumption Church or another Catholic Church
  • If not a member of our church, the parents must provide a letter of permission from their pastor to baptize their child outside of their parish
    • If you are not a registered member of a Catholic Church, you must request this letter of permission from your local Catholic Church
  • We must have approval from both parents allowing the child to be baptized

Godparents/Sponsors:

  • Godparents must be baptized Catholics, 16 years old and older, and have received the sacrament of Baptism, Eucharist and Confirmation. If Godparents are married, must be married in the Catholic Church.
  • At least one godparent must be a baptized Catholic and at least 16 years old. Only two godparents are permitted. 
  • Per Canon Law, only one godparent is required to meet all of the requisites. If another candidate wishes to serve as a godparent but does not meet all the requirements, that candidate may serve as a witness instead.
