Don’t respond to the scammers!

Attention parishioners: Fr. Greer was recently impersonated – DO NOT RESPOND. If you have been contacted by “Fr. Greer” soliciting money or gift cards, please report to the website/ phone number below.

The Archdiocese of Miami has been hearing reports of people receiving emails from scammers impersonating clergy, asking to verify personal information on a document titled Archdiocese of Miami Proposal. If you, your friends or family have received emails like this, please do not open the attachment, do not respond, and delete the email. Clergy would never ask you to verify personal information online. You can report the scam to Florida’s Consumer Protection Division, by visiting www.myfloridalegal.com and filling out a complaint form, or calling the Fraud Hotline, 1-866-966-7226.
