Happy Mother’s Day from Fr. Greer

Greetings in the Lord and especially to Our Mothers!

Yearly, people throughout the world select a day for
these special ladies we know and love. While
remembering their cooking, care for us, cleaning us up
amidst our problems—but what often endures and
encourages us – is her counsel!
She would show and share a wisdom and understanding
about living that stays in us always. It is to maintain
trust and have confidence in our abilities to do good
deeds, “even greater ones” than we might imagine says
in today’s gospel.
And although mothers could lose their cool and be
forceful, in the midst of such trials, there was the
constant assuredness that in spite of bad experiences
we’d rise above our differences and remain in love with
each other. There was a willingness to reconcile and
return to life—as was previous. In spite of opposite
opinions and enduring difficult situations we realized
that this shouldn’t drive us apart—and brought peace
and helped us progress in life.
So Moms continue to guide and help us. We thank the
Lord for you—always!

Sincerely in Christ,
Fr. Michael Greer –Pastor
